The group was welcomed and guided through the Agritech Centre by Professor Roy Kennedy, who showcased the college’s cutting-edge technology used in modern agricultural training. Members were particularly impressed by the advanced equipment and innovative teaching methods preparing students for careers in agriculture and horticulture..
Following this, Liam Newitt conducted a tour of the Animal Care and Welfare Centre. Visitors were introduced to the wide range of animals housed at the college, used to support hands-on learning in animal care. The diversity and high standard of animal welfare and facilities left a strong impression.
