Visit Harvington Hall
20 members of Pershore Civic Society enjoyed a fascinating visit to Harvington Hall on the 16th July. This striking Elizabethan Manor is famed for its seven ingenious priest holes and confusing layout , designed to hide catholic priests from discovery. Our excellent guides shared the Hall’s fascinating secrets and navigated us around it’s intentionally confusing corridors as we learned about the daring efforts made to protect their faith. Our tour ended with a splendid cream tea in the garden !
